The Face Behind Stella Bella Sings
Angelia Hollingsworth grew up in Star, Mississippi, and now lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with her husband, Ed, and their son, Conner. Daughter Leslie and her husband, Jarrad, live in Highland Village, Texas, with their children, Beckett and Stella. Beckett loves baseball, while Stella is the inspiration for this book. Angelia enjoys tennis, gardening and sewing. Writing has been a new adventure for her.
The Beginning of Stella Bella Sings
From a little girl, Stella, singing very loud and off-key in the back seat of the car and her big brother, Beckett, with his fingers in his ears telling her to "hush up", my idea for Stella Bella Sings came to life. It was a picture I could see so clearly in my head and one I felt sure most parents and grandparents could relate to.Writing the book has definitely been a process and new adventure for me. I have loved writing the story and actually bringing the character Stella Bella to life with a handmade doll. They are all one-of-a-kind. No two alike... Just like Stella!
But the best part of my story is I also happen to be Stella and Beckett's LaLa.
