How Stella Started

From a little girl, Stella, singing very loud and off-key in the back seat of the car and her big brother, Beckett, with his fingers in his ears telling her to "hush up", my idea for Stella Bella Sings came to life. It was a picture I could see so clearly in my head and one I felt sure most parents and grandparents could relate to.

Writing the book has definitely been a process and new adventure for me. I have loved writing the story and actually bringing the character Stella Bella to life with a handmade doll. They are all one-of-a-kind. No two alike... Just like Stella!

But the best part of my story is I also happen to be Stella and Beckett's LaLa.
